What a wonderful visit, although too short! I drove to McKinney, Texas to visit the Johnson family - college friends and their precious children! We played, we read books, we ate at fun places (Fireside Pies, Corner Bakery, Spoons - yum!), swam in the neighborhood pool, played at the playground and spent about 3 1/2 days together.

Kimberly and I spent an evening out together at the Shops at Legacy! We shopped, we went to a wonderful movie theater (pictured) and saw an artsy movie,
Then She Found Me, and then ate at Fireside Pies - wow! Many thanks go to Kevin, Kimberly's husband, who watched the kids so that we could enjoy catching up!
I think it is amazing that God allows friendships such as the one Kimberly and I share. When we met in June 1992, we had absolutely NO idea of what the future would bring. We were freshly graduated from high school, embarking on a college

experience neither of us could have planned or predicted and here we are, 16 years later! She is married, with two kids (3 and almost 5!) and I am recently married. Our lives are very different, but God has blessed us so richly and I am so thankful!
